* IFESH* has 4 openings this year 2011-2012. They are accepting applications for a Teacher of English, a Teacher of Teaching Strategies and a Teacher to Train teachers on Special Education. But the best news for h2 Empower is there is an opportunity for one person to work with our library and the teachers on improving reading instruction in Hosanna, which is safe and quiet, in the center of the Southern Region.

We are happy to announce that IFESH (International Foundation of Education and Self Help) has selected Sashenka Lopez, a dynamic and expereinced librarian to work in Hosanna developing a strong library program at our new library, at the library in the Hosanna Teacher Training College and other local libraries. She will train librarians, set up programs for children, adults, and teachers, and organzine books. We welcome Sashenka and thank her for her hard work and dedication in serving the people and supporting literacy in Hosanna.
