Our Programs: Teacher Training
h² Empower strives to improve the quality of education in Ethiopia through continual support and training of the teachers. Following the government approved policies, teachers are trained in student centered learning, literacy strategies, continuous assessment, girls empowerment, first aid, environmental education, behavior management, reading and writing strategies, and use of the library for themselves and the children.
Volunteers go yearly to provide teacher-training workshops for primary school teachers in conjunction with the local bureau of education. The children will succeed academically through the continual support of their teachers. The teachers are eager to increase their learning to help their students achieve. h² Empower delivers the latest teaching methods adapted to meet the needs of Ethiopian schools fostering the educational growth of all.
